Sarah Ellis finished 3rd with England O40’s in the Indoor World Cup held in Nottingham over Easter weekend!
England pool matches:
6-0 win v Australia
11-1 win v Wales
5-2 loss v Germany
6-5 loss v France
5-4 win v Spain
England finished the group in 3rd position and secured a semi final match v Germany. Unfortunately, a 5-2 loss, the same as in the pool match, meant it would be Germany who would play France in the final.
A 4-3 win v Spain meant England finished 3rd overall, Germany came 2nd and an unbeaten France won the Indoor World Cup.
Well done Sarah…….playing despite a broken toe sustained in her Trojans match the weekend before! 🏴🥉
