The Trojans Ladies 1st XI has a proud history of being the top ladies team on the south coast. The team has consistently played in both the outdoor and indoor National League, and enjoyed several spells in the English Premier League in both. Over the years, the ladies 1s has been the springboard for the careers of a number of junior and senior internationals, and continues to attract talented players from all over the south.
The team currently play in the Vitality Conference West, and features a core group of experienced senior players alongside the club’s most talented juniors. This provides a competitive, but fun, performance environment in preparation for a push for promotion to Division One – South.
Coached by experienced former international coach Merijn van Willigen, the team continues to provide a fantastic performance development environment for aspiring players
The ladies 1s train twice a week. With the performance squad on Tuesdays; and on Thursdays – both at Trojans HC, Stoneham Lane.
