Amy Sheehan wins Silver at Euro Championship in Valencia

Amy wins Silver with England O35 and finishes as Euro Championship top scorer

Amy flew to Valencia to represent England O35 at the 2025 Euro Championship, 20-29 June.

England started their campaign with a match v Wales, with Amy scoring a PS in a 6-0 win.

The following day a match against Scotland ended in a 5-1 victory, followed 2 days later with a 3-0 win against the Netherlands.

Their toughest qualifying game was against Germany, Amy scored a 4th minute PC and a 18th minute PS to give England a 3-1 lead, only to be pegged back to 3-3.

England thumped Alliance 10-0 in their final qualifying match, with Amy scoring 3 FG.

England topped the qualifying competition and faced Scotland in the semifinal. Amy scoring 2 FG as England triumphed 2-0.

Germany beat the Netherlands 2-0 in the other semifinal, setting up an eagerly anticipated final against England.

England struck first in the 5th minute but Germany then scored twice to take a 2-1 lead into the second half. England unfortunately couldn’t muster a second goal and Germany held on to win 2-1.


So Amy came away with a silver medal and finished as the Championship top scorer with 8 goals (5 FG, 1 PC, 2 PS).

Amy’s next fixtures will be at the 4 Nations in Glasgow, 1-3 August.
