New Season, New Partners, New Opportunities

Trojans Hockey are delighted to introduce two new partnerships:

Rathbones and TK Hockey UK

Despite inflationary pressures increasing club costs these new partnerships have allowed us to make some exciting improvements for the 23/24 season including:

• Providing a new, high quality, playing shirt for all members
• New camera equipment to record matches enabling better coaching analysis for players,
• Extending the training time for various Junior teams in-line with demand, and
• Ensuring much more hockey for all our members is played at home at Trojans instead of external pitches

Our new TK shirt is an upgrade in all areas. It’s a two way stretch fabric and a panelled design, to improve movement and ventilation. It has flat locked seams, plus the stretch neck and collar is taped for more movement and comfort – it’s a genuine sports shirt.

Heading into this new season, we need to change shirts to include the Rathbones name on it.

All Trojans Hockey players must wear this new shirt for matches which will be covered in the membership fee for the 23/24 season. Once you pay your subs, you’ll be able to order your new shirt.

We do not want any shirts with our old sponsors to be wasted. We plan to allow members to donate old shirts to send to charities working abroad – so nothing will be wasted.

The cost of the pitch, lights and running our hockey has risen significantly and coupled with the investments, our expenditure is significantly increased. We need to increase membership subscriptions, but signing agreements with these partners has allowed us to keep the increase to £20, and remember, this includes the new shirt.
