U12 Boys B continue their great form beating Romsey and drawing with New Forest

1 Romsey+New Forest @ Southampton

The U12 Boys B team continued the strong form which has put them top of Div 2 with 2 more unbeaten matches against Romsey and New Forest.

Even with multiple players making their B team debut yesterday and others trying new positions the team started well against Romsey. We spent 80% of the first half in their half but after probably 20 shots the score remained 0-0. Finally Henry T broke the deadlock right at the end of the first half.

In the 2nd half, the team increased their energy levels (despite the cold) and Henry, Harry and Will all got goals. It finished 4-0 to Trojans.

For match 2 against New Forest, we tried a different formation with other new players. In a tight game where we again had plenty of chances Griff finally broke the deadlock to put us 1-0. New Forest had some success with a long ball game and we conceded a goal midway through the 2nd half. The game ended 1-1.

Well done again to the boys. Great performance.
